Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen follows on from the first film but just like every other sequel it's bigger with more characters and locations. This is reflected in the range of transformers 2 toys as there are many more than there were for the first film. Your old favourites like Optimus Prime and Bumblebee all make a welcome return though of course they look different and are joined by a host of new action figures. As with the other transformers toys there are several different versions for some of the characters.

Transformers 2 Toys: Autobots

Lets start with the autobots and the old favourites. Firstly Bumblebee who sports an updated arm cannon which while in robot mode flips out for you to insert missiles. Next up is Optimus Prime whose transformation has been improved and now looks more like how he appears onscreen.  As for the new autobots Jetfire comes with multiple accessories along with speech and has the ability to combine with Optimus. Just like Jetfire Breakaway is one of the few flying autobots which is sure to make him in demand. Another of the new character is Sideswipe whose vehicle form is a silver corvette with blue windows. While his swords look really cool and if you pull one in an arc towards the front the other automatically swings in the opposite direction.

Transformers 2 Toys: Decepticons

Following on from the autobots you have the decepticons who all look much more badass than they did in the first movie. With a name like Rampage you expect something big that will cause destruction. That's exactly what you get as his vehicle form is a big yellow catepiller bulldozer. Next up is Soundwave who is the decepticon communicator and head intelligence officer. So what other form could he have than a communications satellite. He also comes with Ravage his loyal companion who launches from him. Though sadly he doesn't transform.  Last up is Starscream whose vehicle form is an F - 22 Raptor aircraft. While his transformation is pretty cool as his head is completely hidden inside the jet and as he unfolds the body of the jet transforms to become his arms, legs and body.

Transformers 2 Toys Are All Great!

The transformers 2 toys allow you to continue the fight between the autobots and the deceptercons in the comfort of your own home. While there are a few familiar faces among the range each has been given an overhaul which makes then vastly superior to their first outing. While all of the new characters look great whether their in vehicle or robot form. As each is jam packed with features you'll have hours of fun playing with them.
